Easy & Instant Jalebi Recipe 2020
- 1 cup Flour
- 1.5-2 cup Sugar
- 1 tbsp Ghee
- 1/2 tbsp Baking Soda
- 1 pinch Cardamom powder
- Food colour/saffron
- Vegetable oil
Making the Sugar Syrup
- For the Sugar Syrup , you need to heat 1 cup of water in a pan over medium flame and then add the sugar. When it will reach a perfect consistency that your jalebi can soak properly sim the flame. Add saffron or food colour and cardamom powder. Stir well. Now sugar syrup is ready for your jalebi.
Making the Jalebi Batter
- For the jalebi batter, add the flour, baking soda and ghee in a bowl. Mix it well. Then add water for making the batter and keep whisking until there will any lumps present in your batter. Then pour the batter in a piping bag/ ketch up bottle or anything you have for pouring the batter to make concentric circles (i have used a plastic bag and made a hole.
- Heat the oil in medium flame. Then try to make the proper jalebi shape moving from inside to outside. It isn't that much tough. You will enjoy the process surely. Then fry it in low flame for golden and crispy jalebi
- Then soak the hot fried crispy jalebi in the sugar syrup for 20 sec with a ladle. Now remove from the syrup and serve it.
