Easy Caramel Pudding Recipe




    • 1 cup Sugar
    • 3 tbsp Water


    • 3 Eggs (slightly beaten)
    • 1/2 cup Sugar
    • 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
    • 1/8 tsp Salt
    • 3 cup Warm Milk
    • Choco Chips (10-15 pieces)



    • Heat your oven to 350°F.

    Making the Caramel

    • Heat 1 cup sugar in a saucepan over low heat, add 2-3 tablespoons water and stir constantly, until sugar is melted and golden brown. Pour it into a bowl. Sprinkle some Choco chips. Allow syrup to harden.

    Making the Custard

    • Mix eggs, 1/2 cup sugar, the vanilla essence and salt in medium bowl. Gradually stir in milk. Pour over syrup in the bowl.Take a large pan and fill it's half with warm water. Place the bowl over it and bake for 25 minutes.
    • After 25 minutes to check use a toothpick to insert halfway between center and edge. If it comes out clean, you know it's ready.
    • Remove bowl from water. Let it cool 30 minutes. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for next 2 hours.
    • To unmold, carefully loosen side of custard with knife. Place a plate on top of bowl, turn the dish and bowl upside down. Shake the bowl gently to loosen the custard. Caramel syrup will run down sides of custard. And your Caramel Custard Pudding is ready to be served.
